The Installation and Logistics Department

The Installation and Logistics mission is to support military readiness and quality of life with sufficient, high quality facilities at the lowest life-cycle cost, and to provide logistical and support services with an emphasis on improving tenant unit productivity aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. This includes the identification and solution of facility deficiencies by using engineering and commercial construction techniques, with an emphasis on constructing or renovating existing station facilities. Our aim is to improve installation management, eliminate excess facilities, drive-down support costs, increase use of recycled materials, save energy, and protect the environment, in supporting the military mission.

The Base Services Department

The Base Services Department mission is to provide support services to all customers of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma to include maintenance and repair of facilities, supply services, assisting visiting aircraft, air cargo services, ordnance, recycling, automotive maintenance and repair, maintenance and repair of FM radios and alarm systems, and utility services.
