Our Mission To provide guidance and direction for the Air Station in energy conservation matters and meets or exceeds the energy goals established under Presidential Executive order 13123. This Executive Order signed on June 4, 1999 by President Clinton provides the guideline for all Federal activities to reduce their energy consumption by 35% by the year 2010 from the 1985 baseline. Reduce energy consumption per square foot by 35 percent by the year 2010 (relative to 1985) without compromising military readiness, sustainability, quality of life and safety. Train all shore facility energy managers; and Implement, to the maximum extent practical, all shore facility energy projects with a payback of less than 10 years.
