Gary Sinise, Lt. Dan Band to play

Gary Sinise and the Lieutenant Dan Band are scheduled to perform at the Sonoran Pueblo Feb. 13, 2010, at 7 p.m, as part of a free USO tour.

Sinise, a 30-year veteran actor perhaps best known for his role as Lt. Dan Taylor in the iconic movie "Forrest Gump" and current star of the CBS crime drama "CSI: New York," is a longtime military supporter.

The 14-person cover band has toured in support of the USO since 2004 and also supports the non profit American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial, a personal project of Sinise's.

The band covers a wide range of artists, from Jimi Hendrix to Linkin Park.

Admission is open to only those with base access.
